Finecal Labels extend Girus system to monitor efficiency of rewinding machines.

Last year as part of Finecal's strategy to reduce waste and improve productivity they installed the Girus Productivity Toolkit in their factory in Bristol. Now after a successful 12 months of operational improvements the company is extending the Girus system to include the company's rewinding operation.

July 2007– Visi-tech agree deal to setup manufacturing plant in India.

Girus Group, Visi-tech division have agreed a deal with their Indian distributors OMSuntronics Converting Equipment to setup Visi-tech India. The new venture is the culmination of a close working relationship between the two companies and a successful entry into the Indian market. OMSuntronics have represented Visi-tech and promoted Visi-tech web inspection products in India for the past 3 years, and so the progression to setup the new manufacturing plant with them was a natural one.

Flexible food packaging printer and converter Sabre Triad, recently purchased their second Visitech video web inspection system. Their first system, purchased in 2003, was installed on a 6-colour Arsoma flexo press running both water and solvent-based inks.
